I read it. It’s an interesting tale. But not for me.

I do appreciate how you hew close to your faith-based principles when you parse current events. Even if I don’t subscribe to the back story, you’re a good example of someone who walks the walk.

Happy Easter.

The old Testament is an historic document transferred from ancient time in as accurate a way as possible for even very dedicated humans. It does contain a few provable misstatements. That the ratio of the circumference and diameter of a circle is 3. My personal assumption is that the transcribers did not understand the original notation about the fractional addition to 3 that would make the statement correct. According to sources, the Babylonians, at the time of writing, knew the correct value to several decimals,( even if it was NOT expressed as a decimal). And that Mt Arrarat was the tallest mountain, whereas it was the tallest known mountain. Some misunderstandings of the text have crept in.

I have Him, and love Him as my Lord and Savior. It is so sad that many would reject His offer of free salvation from sin. Free, in other words, no cost to us, only that we believe on His name, the name of Jesus, the Christ.
