Except that Joe Biden had Ukraine prosecutor fired (and bragged about it) to benefit the graft that he and his son profited from. I know you can find dozens of links disputing the below referenced story. You can also find dozens supporting that account. You believe what you choose to believe. Most people do.

The firing of the corrupt prosecutor was the stated goal of the State Dept and the EU, and enjoyed bipartisan support in the Senate in Feb 2016 (archived letter from Rob Portman and Dick Durbin available at https://archive.ph/cWgMJ, original link in https://www.cnn.com/2019/10/03/politics/gop-senators-echoed-biden-on-ukraine-reforms-kfile/index.html).

What he said. 👆

Also, I’ll point out that as VP, Biden didn’t set policy. He carried it out.

There’s also a lot of evidence that neither Burisma nor Hunter was the subject of an active investigation and that the investigation was for activity prior to Hunter’s time with the company.

Trump also set policy and carried out instead of relying on a corrupt subordinate. You believe who you choose to believe.

From your link, a 2019 report. Explains exactly why prosecutor was fired. New prosecutor far more compliant.

"Ukraine would open an investigation into the period when Hunter Biden was involved with Burisma if there were compelling new testimony in Ukraine, Nazar Kholodnytsky, the head of anti-corruption investigations at Ukraine’s Prosecutor’s Office, said on Novoye Vremya radio."

The Durbin/Portman letter just encourages Ukranian President to address corruption to avoid becoming more like Russia. Other reports disagree that Shokin was corrupt. You believe what you choose to believe.
