If Israel wants to shake off its reputation for being an apartheid state, it can start by applying its new death penalty for terrorism law[1] to Israeli settlers terrorizing Palestinians within Israeli borders[2].
It's a low hanging fruit to prove that Israel is a nation of laws applied uniformly, and not a nation that uses its laws selectively to target specific groups out of power.
I’m not sure why you are so upset over two or three dozen criminals being killed during criminal acts. According to news reports, it happens every week in numerous locations.
I am similarly skeptical about why the same people who hate President Trump so much that they had rather see opposing politicians who are no less evil than Donald Trump elected to office. The haters have said they prefer an autopen cabal that refuses to enforce the borders and grants blanket preemptive pardons and appoints judiciary that is sympathetic to every left-wing cause. And has a leftist legislative agenda no matter how ineffective, expensive or inflationary.
It is pretty clear that the democrat party is being taken over by socialist and communist activists. Their primary goal is to overthrow western ideals. Their political clout is fueled by massive immigration with little or no vetting to ensure they are a net positive. Immigration quotas are not small enough to allow assimilation within two or three generations and that makes them a powerful local voting bloc when many settle in a small locality. In recent years, insufficiently vetted immigrants are becoming a more powerful anti-American voting group.
In January 2027 there will be at least three more America haters sworn into congress who in no way could honestly pledge allegiance to the Constitution.
*Alleged* criminals: they were not charged nor tried, nor would any such crime related to narcotics trafficking have resulted in a death penalty sentence.
The reality is we know nothing about the people on those boats that have been killed. At least the American killed by a drone strike was a member of a terrorist group, which made him a valid target.
I compare it to unwitnessed claims of self-defense. The prosecutor decides who to believe and often decides not to prosecute. In the case of smugglers of drugs that cause hundreds of thousands of deaths, the prosecutor is the House of Representatives, the Senate is the jury, and the Constitution sets the penalty if an impeachment results in removal from office. It's whether or not the intelligence is believed. If Congress does not remove the president from office, thereby exposing him to criminal charges, due process has been served.
It is nowhere near comparable, and there has been zero allegations or evidence provided that any weapons were fired by those killed, nor that all ~200 were involved in drug trafficking at all (especially when you consider the few survivors were not charged/tried, but just let go).
It's not US territory or territorial waters.
It's just murder, and yes impeachments are very much necessary.
