"What is more likely is that the Administration might try to cheat or not accept election results. One potential fear is that Trump might deploy ICE agents to polling places to intimidate voters. (Currently ICE doesn’t have nearly enough manpower to do this in any widespread fashion.) Another is that shenanigans similar to Trump’s attempted theft of the 2020 election might be used, especially considering restrictive voter laws passed by many red states since then."
After the examples set in L.A., Chicago, Minneapolis, New Orleans, Maine, and North Carolina, this would backfire TREMENDOUSLY in the administration's face. He might be able to pull this off in states where he would already win, but any state that's a shade purple will see massive community responses.
"The Epstein files released by the Department of Justice on Friday included at least a few dozen unredacted nude photos and names of at least 43 victims, according to news reports."
"The DOJ missed a December 19 deadline set by the Epstein Files Transparency Act by more than a month, but still released the files without fully redacting nude photos and names of Jeffrey Epstein’s victims. The New York Times reported yesterday that it found “nearly 40 unredacted images that appeared to be part of a personal photo collection, showing both nude bodies and the faces of the people portrayed.”"
Shout out to the Boss for his "Streets of Minneapolis" release. Protest songs have long been a part of the American culture and this one will weigh heavy for years to come. Pretti/Good...much love and respect for sure.
I don't read or follow the normal left leaning websites. I spent a lifetime preaching the mantra, so i find little to learn from those i side with. My political diet these days is from former Republican's who have fallen away.
Hence, reading David and Steve and most of the Bulwark gang has been both informational and educational. We came/come from different places...and yet here we are. Weary of the folly and fool-hearty nonsense of an aged narcissist who has to spend every moment in the limelight.
Imagine, destroying the White House and The Kennedy Center in a years time...all the while prices skyrocket.
For those signing his praises, look around you, open your eyes and come to grips with the fact the vast majority of Americans hate what is happening to this country and where we are headed. The Texas victory in a deep red district is just the start of the massive change.
Clearly in Bob Dylan's own words: "The times they are a-changing."
You continue to slander President Trump and Tom Homan while ignoring (or sometimes praising) the truly lawless. The illegals were law breakers the day they entered the USA or overstayed their visa. The anarchists who interfere with law enforcement, injure LEOs and damage government property are all law breakers. The politicians who stoke the violence and anarchy are breaking the law by inciting insurrection. You even close with a whine about a man who abandoned his 5-year-old son to escape ICE officers and give credence to the obviously prejudiced judge who added irrelevant comments to his written opinion freeing the illegal dad.
You portray the violent anarchists who met their unfortunate demise while resisting and harassing LEOs as peaceful protesters even though there is video evidence of Mr. Pretti being violently out of control in previous confrontations. I suppose you saw the shooting of Ashli Babbitt by an LEO, who will never be punished, as quelling insurrection. You declare a several hour riot as an insurrection and a month-long riot to hinder law enforcement a peaceful protest.
Worst of all, you give little consideration to the thousands of victims of the illegals you are so quick to defend.

Whoops!

I'm glad to see online phenomenon Jesse Welles building a nice catalog of protest songs (and Grammy nominations!).

Springsteen's song is awful, it just is.
