I lost interest in the Olympics long ago - after the organizers abandoned any pretense of amateurism. I am rapidly losing interest in college sports for the same reason. Hopefully I will be moved to become more active like David.

I started with hiking and graduated to running. I just got a bicycle a couple of months ago. Except for the whole cancer thing, I'm more healthy than I've been since I was a kid and feeling great. I definitely recommend it.

Biking and walking (especially on the golf course) were the only adult exercises I really enjoyed after a herniated disk and resulting numb leg left me unable to play competitive tennis. I rode my last century when I was in my mid-50s and I feel a little too fragile for biking in my mid-80s. So, I'm left with the walking option. I always feel good and it's not a problem to walk - just a little boring on the same routes. My doctor told me I might have ten good years left if the cancer doesn't return and the aneurism doesn't get too big. I just need to step up the pace and the distance.

And even if they DID mean to offend….get over it. The viewer’s prerogative is to death scroll Tik Tok instead. If someone kept watching….well….they made their choice. So live with it like an adult.

Now, that said, most Christian’s (excepting the ones still frothy at mouth) DO get over it…and good for them. It’s more than can be said for the cohort who don’t tolerate fun being poked at a certain prophet nearly as well.
