On the bright side, the capital will be filled with testimonials reminding visitors of the foolish decisions made by American voters ignoring character and embracing campaign acronyms, derogatory nicknames and vile attacks on the opposition. God Bless America!

America's own little Berlin Walls to tear down is how I look at them.

One can only hope that his name can be erased from a lot of of the things he’s put it on. Now this morning I hear he’s thinking of renaming Lake Ontario and surprise, not to Lake Trump, which is what I expected to hear but to Lake America. 🤦‍♀️

That name will fare worse than The Willis Tower or Rate Field here in Chicago.

Thank you Steve for opening the door. After reading David's column yesterday and the comments that followed, i had to push myself away from the keyboard. Not that i disliked what he wrote or the responses, but the mere fact we take anything the guy in the White House does seriously.

There is so very little he does based on data or supported by facts and or experts in their field. He has surrounded himself with people who tell him how brilliant he his; just watch a cabinet meeting and tell me how you come away believing these are serious people.

But then it gets worse; the Senate, the House and SCOTUS have all been co-opted into acting like this self-proclaimed genius knows what he is doing. There will come a day when accountability will be the order of the day.

I hope and pray i am alive to watch it happen.

Just to ask: have you reconsidered your opinion on the War Powers Act and what it actually empowers the POTUS to do (e.g. only deploy troops for defensive uses without Congressional approval)?
