Reality doesn't generate compelling Content as quickly as Conspiracies do. :-)

On the core memory module, one of my bucket list tasks is to acquire a module and see if I can cook up a BASIC memory controller using a Raspbery Pi or similar hobbyist kit. Not for any particular reason - just to see if I can do it.

I was not clear what you meant about the lab leak theory being counterfactual. If you still believe that, then you are a victim of bad information as well. If you intended to show that you did not reject out of hand something that large numbers of rational people considered counterfactual, that is a different story. If I am being dense, I am sorry, but I would like to know.

For several years, the mainstream narrative is that a lab leak was not the cause of COVID. The lab leak was the counterfactual. I’ve read a lot of evidence for it but there’s no direct evidence, but neither is there direct evidence of another patient zero. The Chinese government very effectively made all this opaque. I have always leaned toward the lab leak and still believe it’s the strongest explanation.

I’ll say this: if COVID has emerged in Frederick, Maryland, U.S. media would never have believed another narrative than a lab leak, no matter what evidence debunking it was presented.

Dr Battycharria has said that the furin cleavage in Covid's genome is a clear mark of laboratory intervention; that it has not been encountered in any wild bat virus. Someone of his prominence and reputation would not make a refutable statement. That convinces me.

I read the same book. The evidence is indeed strong.

Steven, I appreciate this column especially since I have officially challenged Tucker Carlson to a 90 minute debate on Israel and Christian Zionism. Of course, as you might guess, I have not heard back from him, go figure. Only thing I would take issue with you on is your characterization of the Covid vaccines. While they seem to have been fairly effective for those 60 and over, I believe the jury is still out as to their effectiveness in other age groups, especially those under 35.
