Dr. Fauci now calls for more investigation on the theory Sen. Tom Cotton was dismissed as a nutcase for suggesting early in 2020. Did COVID-19 leak from a Wuhan lab?
It is important to know where COVID-19 came from, and the political ramifications that follow if it really did come from a lab and this was covered-up. That said, it changes nothing about the actions and failures of the Trump Administration once it arrived here.
And nothing I wrote defended anything Trump did. However, the media’s obsession with painting “orange man bad” on every single issue did present China with an opportunity to muddy the waters. And the Chinese took that opportunity.
Nor did I accuse you of defending Trump's actions. I'm just putting it out there that it means little when it comes to our response to the virus because as you know, many are trying to seize on this aspect of the story as somehow absolving Trump and his administration: it's important to combat this narrative.
"The earlier dismissals were not based on any known scientific analysis or facts. Clearly you don't regard Fox News as media, cos they took every opportunity to carry water for Trump and his lies, (Chris Wallace excepted.)
