And now the moment you’ve been waiting for! The number one Christmas carol on my list is “O Holy Night.”
“O Holy Night” is another traditional carol. It was originally set to music in 1847 based on a French poem. The version that we know was translated by John Dwight, a Unitarian minister, in 1855.
The song has been recorded many times. This version by Josh Groban reached number one on Billboard’s Adult Contemporary chart in 2002. Not bad for a 150-year-old song!

Merry Christmas and God bless us every one!
Sweet and Groban has the voice of an angel. Though the song is so good, almost every version is special. As i sat listening to it and watching the video, it made me long for a time where the craziness around us is just gone. Life shouldn't be filled with the rancor or the hatred we have consuming us on a daily basis. Music has always provided an escape, thanks for sharing your tops list.
