Welcome to a new feature!
For the remaining 10 days until Christmas, I’ll be counting down some of my favorite Christmas songs (with a little help from Steve and Jay).
At the number 10 spot is a bluesy track released in 1978 by the Eagles, one of my favorite bands. When you think of Christmas blues, the obvious song is “Blue Christmas” by Elvis “The King” Presley. To me, the Eagles built on that tradition and came up with an even better song to represent the genre. Over the past few years, I’ve been hearing this song more and more, so maybe others agree.
See if you can avoid singing along.
