Thank you Steve for this piece here. It was very helpful and informative. I see myself eventually taking the plunge to an EV sometime in the future. But for the near future like later this summer, I'll be getting a plug-in hybrid for my commuter car, and pay close attention to see how the market and infrastructure supporting EVs develop. I remember you telling me about your Niro PHEV a while ago in one of your earlier pieces. I was impressed with it after driving one recently, and is the model I'm likely to settle for this summer.

That EV6 of yours is a sweet looking ride. Love the styling of it. IMO, it is so much better looking than the Hyundai Ionic 5, which I heard was on the same platform as the Kia EV6. Kia really got that styling down good. I'm glad to hear you are enjoying it. Congratulations, and I hope you continue to enjoy it for a good long time.

Extremely informative. Best information yet on use of current EVs. Standardized charging would supercharge the EV industry. Power companies and EMCs should love it. Buy some cheap land a half mile from rural interstate highways, build a convenience store and install two dozen speedy chargers and some gas pumps. It might match a Chick-fil-A for money making.
