The way she was treated by other church members that disagreed with her is just another example that shows why more and more reasonable people are abandoning organized religion in this country.

Good point. Don't misunderstand: my meaning here wasn't that 2A advocate Christians are going to commit armed robbery. It's when others come to the door wanting food and shelter, we can either welcome them or run them off. When they return with guns, do we shoot them in Jesus' name?
That's not likely. When they return with guns (which makes one wonder why they didn't have guns in the first place), the homeowner can shoot them in self-defense.
