This from a 21-year paramedic I asked, who has worked NFL games including the Super Bowl:

“That kind of injury is actually quite common. Vehicle airbags can cause it. Also happens in martial arts. With football it happens in high school games a few times a year. I suspect it is usually reported as “previously unknown cardiac condition”. Bottom line is very serious, cardiac contusion, more often fatal than not.”

Even if it were related to the vaccine, people need to understand how relative risk works.

For example: if getting sick with a particular virus results in a statistic of 1:1000 dead, then a vaccine with a 1:45000 ratio is inherently the safer option.
