Yes to this episode giving an appearance of conflict of interest. I will wait for more investigation to draw any final conclusions. On a different note, we will not be privy to any arraignments the Thomases made concerning colliding career paths. Assume they had awareness of possible conflicts. Not expecting one to have absolute veto power over the other’s career goals.

Such a move would be better for the country than another impeachment battle."

There's no way that Thomas resigns as long as Biden is in the Oval Office and Democrats control the Senate. I'll put my money on CT emulating RBG on that front.
