I'm rooting for former astronaut, Mark Kelly.

A centrist ticket with moderate policies that is willing to stare down the progressive bat-sh1t crazy wing of the Dems, would be a welcome alternative.

Indeed, but if she chooses a running mate to check off some more identity politics boxes, like Pete Buttigieg or some dude in drag, it's over.

“He is the most corrupt, foul, unqualified man to ever hold any political office”. - either hyperbole or lack of education, this is not a statement that a serious writer should make, regardless of your political leaning

But I was serious, and I was correct.

The man is a cancer on the face of our nation and he MUST be excised.

Whomever the VP pick is will need to bring something to the table Electoral College-wise: Shapiro or Cooper would be more beneficial for Pennsylvania and North Carolina respectively. Beshear seems like a decent pick, but not as useful as the prior two mentioned.

Adding this:

Shapiro has a Dem LT Gov, so he can leave office and there'd be no issue. Cooper has a GOP LT Gov - Mark Robinson, who is currently in the race to fill the empty seat (Cooper being term-limited this year).

You are not truly conservative if you think Harris and her far leftist ideology would make a good president. Just look at the disastrous state of California, which I live in. Gavin, Harris and their ilk have destroyed this state with their far lefty policies.

She is far left as they come. She did awful in the dem primary. And is polling poorly against Trump.

SHE is not likable nor was Hillary. That is why Hillary lost and so will Harris. Those two are about as annoying and unlikable as they come. And they are as about as phony and pandering as they come.

Your claim to conservatism is dubious. I think it is just lip service to make yourself sound more credible.

Say you didnt actually read the article without saying you didnt actually read the article.

Please, go back and try again. I literally said the woman would give me brain bleeds over the next 4 years.

But yes, she is likable, compared to Hillary Clinton... and ESPECIALLY compared to Trump. She literally only has to not act like a raging lunatic and she's got it.

The point of this piece was to discuss VP candidates that make sense for her campaign.

You have obviously not read Susan's articles over the years JJ. Her conservative creds have long been established. You on the other hand sound like you've swallowed the maga manifesto and are bitter over not having Biden as his opponent.

Yeah, no. The issue is our local governments preventing more housing from being built, and of course Prop 13 makes for some ridiculous tax base issues.
