That Norm MacDonald tweet struck me as humor. Dark irony is a Jewish speciality in humor and MacDonald nailed it. A shame he’s not here to comment.

That made me wonder if MacDonald was Jewish. He wasn't but I went down the rabbit hole and found this. https://forward.com/fast-forward/475532/norm-macdonalds-gift-to-jewish-humor/

At any rate, sometimes sarcasm and humor can be difficult to detect on the internet.

The Jews catch it from all sides. What I've gleaned from regular reading of many blogs is that Jews are hated by much of the left, a lot of the woke who hate religion and right-wing extremist commenters who are in the minority where I read but post really vile ethnic comments about blacks and Jews. It's good to see that many readers condemn such hate.

That SNL sketch was OK. I couldn't get past the premise of the weights/measures as, at the time, the metric system hadn't yet been created. All those men would have known was the Imperial weights/measures.

And I meant to add that I remember as a very young child listening to reruns of The Shadow when my family went out on Sunday car rides.

If you truly believe this David we are truly and royally "forked." (Cleaned it up for your readers).

I'm pretty sure it's true. I really get the feeling that system of laws and respect for such laws are about all that separates us from such behavior here, although it would probably be via a spiral downward rather than an instant change.
