It's going to be an interesting election, because it's not like Americans are going into it blindly, with some "known unknowns" when it comes to how both men will govern. We've been living Biden's approach for the past 3 years, and we got to see Trump for a full four years before that.

The one thing that I will say about the RNC purge is that Trump is also showing how he'll be different during a second term, where absolutely no dissent will be permitted into the building.[1] The RNC purge is a warm-up for what the Executive Branch will look like, should voters choose Trump over Biden. The GOP itself is being used as a practice target for the techniques detailed by the Heritage Foundation's "Project 2025"[2].

Regardless of the victor, Americans are going to get exactly what they vote for in November, and they are going to get it good and hard.

I didn't include it, but I was reminded of the historical analogy of Stalin purging his officer corps just prior to the Nazi invasion.

Short attention spans...it is the new world order. Social media and the lack of the American public to consume anything longer than a 30 second sound byte is how we (too many of us) function. What is today in March is absolutely meaningless come Sept and October.

Watch what happens this summer. Interest rates will drop, Biden/the democrats will toughen on the border, the Gaza mess will become manageable and inflation will continue to slip down to more normal levels. Job growth and the GPI will continue strong and the stock market will be at record highs; what was will be meaningless to what is. The deep state at work eh (said with a chuckle)?

And of course David, you nailed it with this: "That’s unlikely because Donald Trump is Biden’s best campaigner. The Former Guy can’t shut up and he can’t not be crazy." Truer words were never spoken.

Just one point of clarification: it's the non-Democrat Left that thinks Biden is too moderate. Actual Democrats are very happy with Biden.
