I’m with Andrew Sullivan on this. The accusations are unbelievable….and no one would believe them….and they should be dismissed out of hand….except for stuff like Abu Grahib and “lab leak”.
And as you said, Krystof wasn’t doing hyperbole or allegory. His “opinion” included some extremely precise and specific accusations.
I'm just pointing out that barbarism is inevitable when you declare "jungle rules" and that you won't be held responsible to some form of higher outside standard.
Even among members of God's Chosen Nation.
It seems that this decade will end up becoming a speed run on why we erected those kind of standards and structures after the last large global conflict.
One definition of jungle rules is that one does whatever is necessary to survive. I do I do know that that Israel is hated by every nation on earth except by the current administration of the USA. The United Nations, supposedly formed to promote world peace and order, typically chastises Israel for attempting to survive while ignoring barbaric actions by its enemies. It is possible that rogue Israeli operatives committed atrocities just the same as USA rogues might have done at Abu Ghraib. I do not believe jungle rules are the policy of either nation. The October 7 atrocities convinced me that the same is not true of Israel's enemies.
Jungle Rules is the policy of the Netanyahu government which is the current government of Israel. Barbarism is not Israeli policy. It is, however, official policy of Hamas and Hezbollah. Israel spent 73
years not fighting fire with fire. It’s possible they’ve descended to it in some quarters and if so that’s shameful.
It amazes me that some antisemites in the US claim to be Christian. This suggests very little knowledge of the Bible and no understanding of it. It is a simple fact that without Jews having come first there would be no Christianity today. What happened in the Old Testament as well as the New Testament is all part of God’s plan.

So for both sides, let’s see the evidence.
I pray that this report doesn’t give an even greater rise to antisemitism. 🙏Amen
"Jungle Rules"
Rape and other crimes are not jungle rules. They are barbarism.
