"The Moonies are political and deal in money and influence."

It's worth pointing out that one of America's most influential conservative newspapers is the creation and mouthpiece of the Unification Church:

"The Washington Times was founded on May 17, 1982, by Unification movement leader Sun Myung Moon and owned until 2010 by News World Communications, an international media conglomerate founded by Moon. It is currently owned by Operations Holdings, which is a part of the Unification movement."

"Throughout its history, The Washington Times has been known for its conservative political stance, supporting the policies of Republican presidents Ronald Reagan, George H. W. Bush, George W. Bush, and Donald Trump. Reagan was also a daily reader of The Washington Times. It has published many widely shared columns which reject the scientific consensus on multiple environmental issues. It has drawn controversy by publishing racist content, including conspiracy theories about U.S. President Barack Obama and by supporting neo-Confederate historical revisionism."[1]

Very true. The Moonies are very anti-communist, mostly because they are founded on a belief that Korea will be one nation and the communists run the north. Be sure that if the Moonies were in charge of any nation it would be just as oppressive and totalitarian as North Korea. But they say they’re anti-communist & put a lot of money behind that message, which attracts Republicans like flies.

The one thing I'd like to clarify is that if one doesn't want something to be news you release it late on Friday: it becomes the story of the day and weekend if you do it too early.
