It’s beginning to feel a lot like a Trump Christmas.

Great article Steve and one that should leave us all befuddled. It sent me scurrying for data; data should matter to help put things in perspective. The US population is 342 million with a roughly 53 % being 35 or older. Subtracting those who don't qualify for various reasons drops the number down to something just over 300 million.

With half that being of legal age to run (35), we are left with a scant 150 million potential candidates to run for office. We could further cull it down by weeding out those over 75, another 23 million give or take and we are left even further reduced to something in the neighborhood of 127 million potential eligible candidates to run for the presidency.

All of which begs the question: Is this really the best we can do? Sadly the answer appears to be yes. For my money, i'll take the senile over the criminal every time. Sorry, but at 75 years of age, i can at least relate to senility. Criminal, immoral and amoral have never been attractive to me.

I wish there were a "doomsday block." That would give me some hope.

The worst part of that report is that it explicitly states they don't gave the evidence to show willful retention - and then added the speculation that if Biden was charged no jury would convict because of his age.

Biden has always gaffed. His being old aside - which is a valid concern - he is still capable of having a coherent policy discussion for long periods of time. That's more important than a 30 second gaffe.

Meanwhile, the other guy isn't coherent at all. Just *bing bong bing bing bongs* through whatever is floating through his mind.

Regarding the part of this article where Mr. Berman states that he read Liz Cheney's book: this part of the article is nothing but lies and half-truths, and I will continue to call these lies out wherever I read or hear about them. I am no Trump supporter, but I also am a truth seeker, and I call on Mr. Berman to renounce the lies contained in his piece.
