I can't speak for the army but I know from my time in the marines that we didn't march a day after boot. While I know some grunts did do it as part of their training most non combat MOS ranks would have had better things to do. If Trump was expecting a march from our soldiers like China or N. Korea he went about it all wrong.

That said it bugged me the people dissing our military as some sort of proxy to dissing him. Those guys were forced to give up their saturday and as a guy who has experienced the annoyance at being picked for special detail they deserve better than that. It's also why his political speech in front of them was so bad as well. You cannot politicize our servicemen.

The Trump phone is made in China, too.

"The T1 appears to be a reskinned version of the REVVL 7 Pro 5G, in a new enclosure and with slightly moved around cameras. This smartphone normally costs $250 at full retail, and even goes down to $169 on sale like it is on Amazon right now."

But at least it’s not Huawei.

I’ll bet Signal is pre-installed.

Wow, the anti-ice, anti-Trump, no kings rallies were for the most part nonviolent. The liberals, Marxists, anarchists, and socialists in those crowds managed to behave themselves for one day. Amazing, isn't it? Of course, now that Saturday is over, I would bet that they will go back to who they are. Having said that, Mr. Thornton says that these rallies made him hearken back to the Tea Party rallies. My thought on that? Nah, not even close. I just watched a video that was shot in Orlando, Florida and the person was interviewing people in the crowd, and those people could not have been more menacing to the interviewer. If she had not had bodyguards with her, It wouldn't have gone well for her. The tea party rallies, as i remember them, were very peaceful and lighthearted. I was at the big one in DC where over a million people showed up. Great day that was. We left the grounds cleaner than they were when we got there. I wonder if that was the case in Chicago? Turning to another thought i had on Saturday, maybe the irony is lost on you protestors, but I wonder if you realize that if Trump was a real King on the order of King George, or some other malevolent king, you wouldn't have had any protests? Oh, well, I'm just glad we have a real King to look to, the King of Kings, the Lord Jesus Christ.

"I wonder if that was the case in Chicago?"

The streets of Chicago were left in as good shape after Saturday's events as the streets of Washington DC.

Do you have reason to suspect otherwise on your plane of existence?

(Did I forget to click the "Multiverse" checkbox on Substack for my post yesterday? Again?)

Yes, actually, but I am glad to hear that they were in good shape.

There were no new pothole shrines created this weekend, much to the consternation of hipsters and influencers everywhere.[1]

In all seriousness, the Indivisible organizers did a good job running a tight ship and not getting on the news for stuff that we didn't want to be on the news for (unlike Los Angeles and Salt Lake City).

It is kinda surprising that a pothole or two didn't appear what with the number of marchers there were...lol
