Amen. A very learned man reminded me this morning, we have but 2 commandments from Jesus. I pray for the deliverance of the Iranian people, of our fellow citizens and in fact the whole world. Deliverance from the evil that presents itself as religion while waging war.
War is a choice by failed leadership to which other sides have a choice to which can also be failed leadership or response. Thoughts and prayers are comfort at best.
It’s always a bit “interesting” when people “pray to god” for a certain something, while others simultaneously pray to the same god for the opposite thing. Certainly a god-level conundrum, for “god”.
Gets even more interesting when people pray to different gods (or differing iterations thereof) for different results to the same event. That’s a battle royale I could support.
Another banger of a Sunday piece.
Thanks again!
