The Biden administration might have not weaponized the DOJ, but they have definitely turned it into a defense force for Joe and Hunter. I cannot agree with labeling Abbott and DeSantis fringe right-wingers just because they refuse to roll over and play dead while democrats attempt to fundamentally transform America and refuse to enforce the laws except where they can create a case against conservatives.
I agree that Burgum is the best candidate. We could have more better candidates if moderate conservative opinion influencers had not spent the last six years complaining about Trump instead of offering alternatives. The last 30 months of the Biden / Harris circus should have made alternatives even more desirable. At this stage of the game, we should be encouraging candidates like Burgum and DeSantis for having the guts to risk being labeled losers for taking on Trump who will probably be the nominee that half of the USA hates.
It truly is amazing to see people buy into the Biden crime family lie and argue Joe et al are ruining the country. How is that the case Curtis? Every country in the world experienced crushing inflation coming out of the pandemic. You know that as well as i do. And to be clear, we are working our way out, slowly but surely.
We listened to the republicans tell us all Biden would be controlled by the far left wing if he was elected. In reality, they've had virtually no impact on him and his policies. He's governed from the middle, not from either extreme. Prove me wrong.
While the paint brush has been working overtime to color him as a tool for his son, after 5 years of "investigation" by the trump appointed special counsel Weiss, he's found nothing regarding Joe. As far as Hunter, who cares? Throw his ass in jail if he has done something wrong. Maybe there he can stay sober.
Ultimately everything, whether you are leaning right or left, has to come down to what you can prove and more importantly...what you can't. You know this as well as i do. There's simply no proof the election was stolen....none. There's simply no proof that Joe reaped anything from his idiot kid...none. You've got to live with what you can prove. It's the rule of law republicans used to believe in.
On the other hand, witch hunts, hoax's and all the other whining by the orange guy and his fantasy claims are piling up, nearly as high as the evidence they have accumulated against him. I do subscribe to the principle "innocent till proven guilty." You would think trump and the collection of RICO charged defendants would be in a big hurry to clear their name and put it behind them.
But alas, their strategy is abundantly clear; hope trump gets elected and pardon the whole lot of them. What does that tell you about how "innocent' he is?
I know our economy is affected by what happens in the rest of the world. I do not know why we have to let it be so harmfully that way. We did not have to shut down our economy and spend outrageous amounts of money - much of it going to fraudsters - based on false science. Trump was definitely gullible early on. So were any Republican congressmen that voted for the various free stuff programs and the fraudulently named Inflation Reduction Act. I do not care what the rest of the world screws up. We do not have to let it happen here.
Trump can go to jail. I do not care. I do care that no one questions or investigates Biden wrongdoing which is just as obvious to me as Republican wrongdoing is to you. We have witnesses that say Hunter was guilty and that Joe lent his name to the corrupt enterprise. We have a lady testifying that Joe sexually assaulted her. No scrutiny from most of the press. No real investigation from the DOJ except to slow walk it past the statute of limitations.
