Couldn't agree more David, slow the roll and put the money in the pockets of those who need it. Get it to the small businesses, by-pass Kushner Enterprises and the other big players who somehow got to the front of the line the first time and target the most needy. We've lost too many little players already and moving smartly rather than broadly will only encourage both sides of the aisle to step up. Wouldn't it be a hoot to see a dozen republicans support that can of legislation? Bi-partition, what a novel idea.

We also have to shovel as much money as humanly possible to vaccine production and distribution. After the alex azar fiasco of the lies about the stockpile/reserves, invoking the Defense Production Act is a given. We will never get our arms around heard immunity without it.

Imagine had we put as much energy into defeating the pandemic, as we had about bull-shitting the dummies about a crooked election and we would be well on our way to fixing this mess. Sadly, that didn't suit trump's fund raising goals so instead by the time he leaves we will have some 400k dead. That is his legacy and no one should ever forget it.
