I don't think "runner-up" is the right term to use for the fellow who's consistently received the most votes on all six ballots thus far. He will not be Speaker, but he isn't finishing second place, either.
Being endorsed by Trump and MTG does not automatically make someone a bad person. At least no more than an endorsement of Barack Obama by Louis Farrakhan would make Obama more evil than John McCain. To infer guilt by association is imprecise at best.
