The most simple explanation I’ve seen for the discrepancy is that there are different measures for fatalities. The infection mortality rate is apparently what was referred to in the diary while the case mortality rate includes only confirmed cases. That was apparently the congressional number. The case count is a more concrete number because infections could only be estimated, especially in the early days before testing was rolled out.

How can you say that? I was forced to vaccinate by my employer and yet afterwards I still got Covid. I have had every known vaccine and never got sick from the disease I was vaccinated against. Ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine not effective? We were not allowed to use those! Show me a doctor that made it available to patients! Both have been proven effective. You assume that a vaccine that has actually been determined to be some kind of therapeutic treatment and not a vaccine. In fact there are way too many young people getting heart problems and other unintended maladies so I’m not sure Covid was stopped by these “vaccines”.
Never in my life have I seen my government force people to get vaccinated, threaten their employment if non-compliant and close mom and pop businesses while letting large corporations thrive.
All of this plus the fact that we were subsidizing gain of function (“let’s see what happens when we make this shit lethal, what could go wrong?”) research in a country widely known for not following the rule of law and who in effect may be our mortal enemy!
