Definitely requires more scrutiny concerning why these Secret Service messages were deleted. The agency provided a weak answer. Hope the their response is for a good reason. Good enough to sacrifice agency credibility. A better response needs to be demanded.

Which are they; confusing stories, lies, understatements, overstatements, confusion? Hyperbole? Obfuscation? Who are we to judge? It's hard for us on the outside listening and hearing all manners of stories.

This isn't rocket science; it's really pretty simple gang. Just have each and everyone of those involved pull up your Cassidy Hutchinson's big girl panties and show up at the Jan 6 hearings and testify under oath. Place your hands on the bible and swear to tell the truth, the whole truth and then we'll know for sure.

So simple, so very, very simple.

Expect the story would change under oath. I am all for that.

Lost electronics messaging is a favorite tactic used by democrats. Peter Strozk/Lisa Page and Lois Lerner Come to mind. Eventually much of those missing communications were recovered. In the case of Hillary Clinton and democrat campaign shenanigans, they were never found. Of course, President Trump could not even make a joke about maybe the Russians having them without the democrats and media accusing him of abetting more Russian mischief.

I don't know what the full story in this case but it's possible your suspicions may be misdirected. We do know that the primary motivation of bureaucracies is self-preservation.

The Washington Post reporter who called the May 2020 LaFayette Park riots mostly peaceful must not have noticed the rioters throwing objects that injured White House security personnel, tearing down barricades and committing arson. There was live TV coverage. I saw it.

Good point. And my thought was that the reporter might be conflicted.
