It’s sad to see what has happened to the denomination since most Southern Baptists that I know are good people. Most disturbing to me is the sexual abuse scandal. I remain appalled at the lack of empathy and caring of the denominational leaders.
I think the core problem with the SBC is similar to the problem with a large part of American Christianity: The love of Christ is not in evidence
