The irony, a guy who spent his whole life screaming "fake" now using fakes to try and take down his opponent. But wait, he's used that same tactic forever hasn't he? Let's all say it together: "PROJECTING." The donald is the king of it; absolute king of it.
What is shameful is the right wing echo chamber buying into and using the altered video as proof. Let me be more graphically blunt: Fucking shameful. Fox et al know what they are doing is wrong, but when you have no sense of right and wrong, you simply don't care. You just keep beating the same dead horse and never admitting your misdeeds/mistakes/lies.
Joe will always be Joe, while trump grows each day into a worse version of himself. Your best summary of it all David was this line: "As I’ve said in the past, Americans have a choice between a slow but happy grandpa or a malevolent, crazy uncle."
For my money, i'll take the happy grandpa every time.
MAGA needs to deceptively edit and crop videos of Joe Biden to make him look demented, where full clips/interviews/etc... show he can speak at length with no more than his usual flubs that have pained him his whole career.
No editing or cropping of Trump is needed to make him look or sound demented.
There you go again, David. This article definitely proves my point in that you've become nothing more than a shill for Joe Biden. In an article that purports to compare and contrast the two candidates, you do your level best to put Biden in as good a light as possible, while demonizing Trump as a dark, malevolent (your word) figure. I just wish you could present both of these candidates for President as what they are, both unfit, both old and feeble-minded, both on the fringes politically, both for killing babies, though Biden more so, and both morally bankrupt. Let's just tell the truth, shall we?
> I just wish you could present both of these candidates for President as what they are, both ... both ... both ... both ...
But they AREN'T the same, and since we're left with the choice of these two candidates, why focus on ways in which they're the same? David's piece focuses on some of the main talking points in this race, and highlights ways in which the two are different. And Trump comes up very clearly on the wrong side of that balance sheet.
The two are very, very different ... neither would be my ideal pick for president, but only one of them is TRULY unfit for the office.
I guess it all just depends on who you get your news from and which sources you decide to believe. As far as I'm considered The Washington Post is about as untrustworthy as they come as they have already on several different occasions proven themselves to be state sponsored media. For a counter point, you might want to check out this article by Matt Taibbi:
"In the meantime, remember Abraham Lincoln’s words."
"Thank you for reading The Racket News ™. "
"This post is public so feel free to share it."
Timeless.
Abe was so ahead of his time.

What should be an easy consideration:
