I gestured towards this point yesterday, but is it possible to be "deranged" when you're generally aligned with an objectively-measurable reality? Engaging in "TDS" these days isn't such the reach it was during the first term, or even at the beginning the latest term, with everything that's happened and directly and uncontestably attributable to Trump: ICE assaulting citizens and legal residents, tariffs that raise prices, the STUPID war in Iran, the rampant corruption, etc.
When someone pops in from the inferior Racket News and accuses us of TDS, I take it as a confirmation that I'm seeing things clearly. I don't even want to argue about it anymore, but to just reply with a "Thanks, bud!"
You might be correct to some extent which should give you and the rest of the MAGA haters a tingle. In the meantime, by voting strictly democrat, you will be gaining an increasingly powerful socialist contingent controlling the government of the USA. A packed Supreme Court, a neutered military, no borders, ineffective law enforcement and an overly lenient judiciary.
Even worse in the long term, it will usher in a powerful, socialist-leaning education system. Those indoctrinators coupled with the newsmakers in charge of the government and the compliant news media will rule for at least six to eight years. During that time, millions of youngsters will go from pre-teens to voters.
The DSA will become more prevalent and more influential because they are the ones who make the difference between democrat control and Republican control. They will be able to sway legislation toward their socialist goals. Socialism is defined as "any of various economic and political theories advocating collective or governmental ownership and administration of the means of production and distribution of goods". There are many local and state DSA candidates for state and local offices, and any winners will be influential at those levels. The following list includes some (there are more) current members of Congress and candidates who will, if elected, influence USA policies and legislation for at least one generation.

I blame Trump (and his enablers) because he took what would be the natural bulwark against socialism (the GOP) and turned it from a party of free markets and free trade into a party of corruption and cronyism.
At least with the socialists, the rest of us get something out of that. Personally, I'd rather have the free markets and free trade, but those guys were run out of town LONG ago.
