I believe our elected Congress already does a sufficient job of misleading Americans and obstructing legislation without the aid of foreign controlled electronic apps.
The fact that the only country where you can't download/use TikTok is China tells you most everything you need to know about how TikTok is being used by the CCP: it's a hybrid warfare weapon.
Reason: suppressing topics that China finds sensitive. A TikTok user with a large following will get traffic to their videos, excepting those that mention said sensitive topics - like the Uyghurs, Tiananmen Square, Ukraine, pro-Israel...
Thing to think about: ByteDance reportedly would prefer to shut down TikTok rather than take $50bil, which would be a massive profit. Ask "Why?"
Interesting point: India had 200mil TikTok users when it was banned there. They just moved to other platforms.
