The most powerful emotion on earth manifested itself a few minutes ago. All haters can start their celebrations now.

Me too. There are plenty right-wing crazies out there who might attempt retaliation. I see President Biden is moving to a more secure location. I will take all the BS thrown at me, but I have to call out all the irrational vitriol on these pages directed toward Mr. Trump. Words matter.

Interesting read Steve; the dance was a hoot. Not so much the rest of the tragedy we find ourselves in. Trust is one of those words i cling to. The folks surrounding the president are the ones i find most distasteful. Actually, that's way too kind. They've obviously know and worked hard to mask it.

How any of us mere mortals would know just how bad he is/was is hard to gauge. I trusted those around him to be honest. Shame on all of us. More shame on them.

What matters now is what the democrats do about it. Truly a come-to-Jesus-moment. History will judge us and this 2024 election with a truly jaundiced eye.

On a sadder note; RIP Richard Simmons.

Extreme emotions coupled with extreme rhetoric can too often times lead to extremely unfortunate outcomes. Too many of our politicians and media abuse their positions unwisely to suit their own ends, but while not completely excusing their behavior, I think it would behoove us all to remember in these dark and unsettling days, that the person ultimately responsible for what happened yesterday is the person who intentionally and with purpose pulled the trigger.
