I guess "KAMAKA VP:" is there for us to comment. Gov. Josh Shapiro, by a mile, and lapping the field. But then again, Democrats do like to buy lame horses then complain that they got a lame horse, so what do I know?
I wasnt sure what you meant at first. Just saw it. I thought about adding a section but decided against it. Apparently I didn't delete the whole thing.
Unfortunately, I doubt Trump will dump Vance. That would be admitting an error. Picking Rubio or Burgum would have given hesitant traditional reporters a signal that at least some of the old ways still held. Instead, it's full steam ahead to MAGAVILLE! So, what happens if the OG Republicans decide it's time to get off the train?
As noted by Patrick Chovanec - every VP pick is done on a DEI basis: the VP is there to fill in the candidate's gaps with the electorate, be it geographically/demographically/etc....
Vance basically just brings youth and nothing else beneficial from an electoral sense. Whomever Kamala brings in will likely be more beneficial electorally: Gov Shapiro is beneficial re PA and possibly the Rust Belt, though perhaps it's a little too early for him to be elevated to such a position. Sen Kelly would be beneficial re AZ, and possibly other areas (gun owner, more moderate on immigration and economics, combat pilot, masters in engineering, and astronaut for some examples). However, Kelly may not have enough of a legislative record to be beneficial.
We'll see soon enough which way they think the election is going to be played out.
We travel in different circles. The Vance choice has been very popular, and all I’m reading is that he adds a calming & thoughtful approach to the ticket.

Can I get whatever THOSE people are smoking?
I don’t agree… I’m excited about J D Vance!
As a strong supporter of the Harris ticket...i too am excited by the vance choice.
"...there are signs that Donald Trump is underwhelmed with Vance’s performance so far and is second-guessing his choice."
YOU, and certain Republicans, may be underwhelmed with Vance, but please provide a source suggesting that Trump is now second-guessing.
Trump would never admit second-guessing but as Vance’s anti-Trump history comes into clearer focus, I’m pretty sure Trump isn’t happy.
