Thanks. Your opinion on the outcome of the meeting is probably correct. Nothing will really be accomplished which is probably correct. I also learned that there is no international air space between Russia and that part of Alaska and that fact has some significance.

Looks like Putin wants resources out of Alaska, reportedly rare earth minerals - which the US sorely needs for strategic purposes.
