"Michael Every, a global strategist at Rabobank, explained the hazards of Trump’s plan to CNBC, saying, 'He’s talking about structurally breaking the global system by hook or by crook to basically reindustrialize the U.S. in a neo-Hamiltonian manner which is how the US originally industrialized, putting up a barrier between it and the rest of the world so it’s cheap to produce in America and more expensive to produce everywhere else if you’re importing into America.'"

Insanity in a world where the barriers to transporting goods between countries is so low, and the American market is a smaller one compared to other countries (and the EU). Let's make the cost of doing business with America so high that the rest of the world routes trade around us. Sounds like a winning strategy to achieve irrelevance in record time.

its real simple.....if we are taxed for our efforts/labor, then so should everyone else be. Of course....i think ONLY sales taxes should be levied anyway....

Wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute David. He doesn't really mean what he says, it's all just bluster and buffoonery. Really? How many times have we heard the foolishness flow and when normal republican's are asked about him and deflect with this tripe; "it's just trump being trump." 100's? 1000's? Too many for sure.

Anyone who doesn't take trump et al at face value is simply living in a dream world. He is exactly what he portrays; he'll never change...other than to get worse.
