RE: Biden's prostate cancer diagnosis: Scott Adams, creator of Dilbert, has announced he too has prostate cancer with bone metastasis and has only months to live. He also addressed the chatter that a cover-up of Biden's cancer diagnosis, stating that it is very much possible the cancer was only just detected.

Just saw that about Scott. Very sad for both of them.

I’ll bet I can find more news reports about atrocities and other felonious acts by illegals than you can about deportation mistakes and whiny illegal complaints. Most illegals are in trouble with the Feds because of their own decisions. Most dreamers deserve a break but some, like the college student in Dalton, are questionable. She knew she and her family were breaking the law but did nothing to initiate corrective action.

The illegals continue to flood the news media with sob stories embellished to gain sympathy. While the degree of severity of personal injuries and monetary losses of illegal’s victims can be embellished, the finality of murder cannot. All of the berry pickers and chicken pluckers and motel room cleaners in the USA are not worth the cost and security risks associated with their illegal presence.

Asylum seekers are mostly scammers just looking for a ride on the gravy train. The same applies to many student visa holders. Their “free speech” is nothing more than un-American activities toward our society and our allies. The Secretaries of State and Homeland Security have full legal authority to expedite the deportation and visa repeal for those found to be undesirable.

Find a college admission officer from a mid-tier university to share a drink with one of these days. They'll quickly let you know that international students pay more for education within the US, and their payments keep universities for raising their prices, effectively subsidizing domestic students.

So what? The questions are why are they here and who is financing them and are they enrolled in useful courses of study? I question their motives. It does not take many enemy agents to sow discord and collect intelligence. They just cost a little more than spy balloons. Why do we need them?

You accused foreign students of looking for "a ride on the gravy train", which implies that they are freeloaders, when the opposite is true.

I'm sorry that the idea that folks come here from overseas for good educations (and are willing to pay and work for it) is a foreign one to you.

As for "why do we need them?" - my answer is in my original response. Talk to a admissions officer about their role in keeping a college education affordable for domestic students.

As for the spying accusation, I hate to inform you that universities are part of the open society that we live in. If someone wants to glean our best and newest university research, purchasing a journal subscription is even cheaper than sending students here to pay inflated rates.

Yeah, gravy train was a bit too narrow. I have actually hired college students here on visa. The good ones left when they got their master's degrees and the ones I found useless begged to stay. I'm not concerned about the latest research. My concerns are mostly un-American activities and discord. We have enough domestic sources for that. Why would we want more of that? And I spent six years working my way through engineering school. You went to an exclusive school with tons of endowments. I'm not impressed by unvetted foreign students with questionable funding.

"un-American activities and discord"

You mean protesting Israel and our support for their ongoing campaign in Palestine? I don't recall you objecting to folks protesting and denigrating our NATO allies. Why is Israel so special?

There's a very thin line, maybe no line, between anti-Israel, pro-Palestine and supporting a terrorist organization like Hamas. My only knowledge of denigrating NATO is that most members failed to live up to their military obligations which I thought was valid.
