In the co-working space I use, the staff will put out a tray of snacks for tenants to spice up their lunch. Folks are pretty good about respecting the "pick one" rule, but we have some types who will pick a snack-sized bag of chips, open it and take half, and leave the rest of the bag, as if someone wants the half-bag they've put their hand in.

It drives me batty.* I imagine that they are doing something like this diet to the exclusion of thinking of anyone else.

*Pet peeve #2: The Masters of the Universe who are on calls SO IMPORTANT that they bring them into the restroom with them while they proceed to use the facilities. When I'm feeling puckish, I'll try and flush as loudly as I can.

Good story and good advice. Dieting works. Drinking water and exercising helps.

For some people, a weight loss program is choosing fatter friends.

Great read, thanks. Good points.

Obesity is not healthy.

One point of subtle disagreement , though. Christian Nationalism is terrible, but not even close to rampant.
