Steve Berman, I don't know if you listen to conservative talk radio or pay attention to people posting on YouTube, but I have come across probably 15-20 instances where actual people who live and/or work in western NC say that FEMA and other governmental agencies have, in fact, prevented/tried to prevent aid getting through to those most in need.
I’d like to have a video showing the actual event versus people talking about something that happened. Sometimes misunderstandings turn into grievances.
I read comments like this one Steve and simply smile and ask; Really? I guess being a female means her policy positions need nuts and bolts details while the donald's just need the first part; NUTS! Harris has ramped and amped up her position papers dramatically since entering the race. And frankly the idea she has to follow in Joe's footsteps are folly.
But alas, we need to look more closely at trump's plans: Here's the two planks from his platform getting all the ink. It's worth detailing and digging deeper.
1). Remove the 25 million illegal (and some legal) immigrants immediately. Anyone with a true authoritarian bend has to love this idea. Massive police force to round them up, camps built to detain and house them and then a structure (plains, trains, boats and busses) to deport them.
The beauty of it is we can put millions of American's to work (temporarily) as we hatch this genius plan to rid ourselves of the horde who have invaded this country. Of course the downside is our economy comes to a screeching halt (collapses) as those horrible creatures from shit hole counties are sent packing. Minor detail as i'm sure American's will be flooding those open jobs they already have no interest in.
But wait, it gets better:
2). Tax cuts for everyone: Seniors, tip taxes, overtime taxes, corporations, finally some true tax relief for those overburdened billionaires. The sky is the limit under trump.
Of course the question becomes; how do we do that? Easy, peasy and it is a one word answer; tariffs. I know the devil is in the detail, but with trump, we never let details get in the way...or the words of dozens of economists who have told us it won't work.
So Steve excuse me for being blunt here; Harris's plans actually sound appealing while trumps are frankly just NUTS!
The claim of misinformation and disinformation are basically trying to stop the first amendment. Finding the truth is not easy. But that should not be a reason for censorship. Today the charge has become “you’re a liar “ … but that’s your freedom of speech if you choose to use it. The old saying is that I might not agree with you but I will defend your right to say it.
Misinformation can be forgiven: being mistaken happens.
Disinformation is another thing entirely: it's willfully lying to people.
And no, stating that something is either misinformation or disinformation is not "trying to stop the first amendment". The first amendment protects the right to speech from the government, and that's not the issue at hand.
You *might* consider it an attack on the principle of free speech, but on the contrary: it is itself free speech to call out speech and to shame people for their speech. To state one may not be criticized for what they say or how they say it is itself attempting prevent free speech.
Well said. Trump and Kamala both have a chance to win only because they are running against each other.

In many of these cases, the government won't allow video to be taken...

Public perception matters. It’s not her positions, it’s how she’s presenting them (or not presenting them).
Curious Steve; what parts of trumps platform are you in favor of? What part's of Harris's don't you like?
