Odd, i'm not that cynical. There's always a difference of opinion when it comes to truth; Most often the "lies" are simply unfulfilled campaign promises. For example: Using trump for comparison purposes, let me explain it this way: He claimed he would build the wall, the big beautiful wall. The fact he didn't i don't see as a lie. He just failed to get it done. The fabrication came when he told us "Mexico would be pay for it." That was never going to happen, he knew it, you knew it and i knew it was just so much bullshit.
You do yourself a disservice to lump politicians unable to deliver on campaign promises with trump standing on a stage and spewing lies night after night (like the stolen election). The worst part of the whole trump mind flocking is politicians who know better now have become his partners in crime by spewing the same nonsense.
This one line says everything there is to say about trump, his strategy and his followers: "None of this has any bearing on the truth."
Usually, i write too much, not this time, wasn't/isn't necessary.
Since when has politics ever had any bearing on the truth?
