I posted elsewhere that should Ukraine survive this onslaught, I don't want them joining NATO, I want them RUNNING it. It's clear that the West has lost sight of NATO's mission, and we have a lot to learn from the Ukrainians.

China is now backing both talks and Ukraine's sovereignty.

Putin really seems to have screwed the pooch, eh?

I hope you are correct, but the above report seems to indicate China is speaking with a forked tongue - telling NATO and the EU that Ukraine is sovereign, but the EU / NATO should cave to Russia's demands. I have seen other reports that Putin is threatening Finland and Sweden similarly to his threats against Ukraine

If the transcript is accurate, I'm surprised by the courtesy of the Russian soldier toward the woman who confronted him. He sounds like every good LEO I've had contact with. Since I'm not a criminal, my contact has been limited to things like a game warden asking to see my trout stamp or traffic checkpoints for DUI, insurance cards, drivers' license or, where I live, illegal aliens.

There's certainly nothing wrong with spotlighting Putin's ruses for the 10% of the population in first-world countries who did not already know he practiced lying and deception. I am surprised we continue to purchase Russian oil to signify we support financing aggression and really do not care that 40 million more people will fall under despotic rule.

Oh, it's so refreshing to see a conservative willing to give credit where it's due rather than twisting things "because Biden." Thank you!
