History, especially the past 8 years has taught us one thing: trump's behavior is entirely predictable. There is nothing to speculate. It's far from conjecture. Every step of the way, the maga-infested wing of the GOP (my apologies to true conservatives) has been planting the seeds.

We know the results will be a shit show. I've read comments where some claim fear if he loses. Sorry boys and girls, the real fear will be if he wins. We can will deal with the chaos he creates in a loss and sadly, more than a handful of his minions will once again see jail time.

He may well be locked up with them. He won't have the shield of protection the Supreme Court handed him as operating as the president (even though it was bull shit). Nope, he'll just be a private citizen, even though a candidate, there will be nothing to hide behind this time as they try and screw with the election and the legal process built into it.

Think i am wrong?

The Heritage Foundation has a data page regarding voters convicted of election fraud across the country. I grabbed Georgia for obvious reasons, but you can check every state on the site. From 1997-2024 the link shows 23 voters were prosecuted for some type of voter fraud (which covers the gamut and includes all party's candidates). Here's the link: https://www.heritage.org/voterfraud/search?combine=&state=GA&year=&case_type=All&fraud_type=All&page=0

It's simply the proverbial red herring. History has taught me that i am tired of the argument used by so many: "Oh, it's just trump being trump."

It is way past time for him to go.

Good article David. Just an FYI Pennsylvania Legislature is currently mixed. Democrats have a very slight 2 seat advantage in the state house. Republicans only control the state senate. Which is why none of the vote counting improvements have made it through, as the state senate has blocked and poison pilled any legislation for the precounting of mail ballots in order to keep this nice and messy. Likewise anything trying to make voting more difficult was also blocked.
