Warnock punted on pro-life and violence "erupted"
Without personal responsibility, we slide toward tyranny
Good morning everyone. Forgive the rant that’s about to follow. I’m angry.

Now, on to the bile eruption…
Over the weekend, a few thousand Trump supporters who had nothing better to do than to hang out in Washington, D.C. clashed with violent counter-protesters, resulting in four stabbed and eight police officers injured. CBS News reported that the stabbings materialized out of thin air: they simply “erupted.”
The “Million MAGA March” happened in Washington with President Trump’s blessing. He neither acknowledged nor condemned any violence resulting from the march.
But the president continued to indict everyone from state governors, election officials, judges, and the Supreme Court, tweeting they “chickened out” in rejecting the doomed Texas filing for a lawsuit against four other states. Trump appointed a third of these justices, and they voted unanimously to reject the case on the basis of no standing for Texas.
Despite Trump’s campaign legal team’s record of 100% failure, he is still claiming that there’s massive fraud that has not been cured, and that the only cure is to overthrow the election and appoint electors to keep him in office. Whether you believe that there is massive fraud or not, the fact that so many who have been elected and appointed to offices that make them accountable for the results, have not ferreted out this massive fraud, makes them all traitors, or perhaps it makes the one claiming they are traitors look like he’s avoiding responsibility for losing the election.
I’m even beginning to think that Trump simply tired of being president and kept doing things that would practically guarantee his loss, just to fight this battle. The more he fights, the more people who should be exercising their own personal responsibility get to pawn that off to the giant Never Trump conspiracy, that now embroils Gov. Brian Kemp, who supported the president (and in most ways, continues to do so), and endangers the race for Senators David Perdue and Kelly Loeffler, who are now forced to oppose their own governor and secretary of state in order to march in lockstep with the president.
In the small town of Stockbridge, south of Atlanta, a man walked up to a Democrat supporter carrying Ossoff and Warnock signs, punched him in the face, then tore up the signs.
There’s no excuse for this kind of behavior, discarding civility for brutality. The fact that Antifa or others in Washington, D.C. stabbed some Proud Boys doesn’t excuse it.
This would be like me walking down the corner to my neighbor’s house and lighting it on fire because he has Warnock and Ossoff signs in his yard. Sure, maybe if I saw him in his yard, said hello, and somehow politics came up, I could try to persuade him not to vote for those two, but burning down his house isn’t a good approach—and it’s a sign of America tipping toward tyranny.
Speaking of tyranny, Joe Biden, who has been a Catholic his whole life, nominated Xavier Becerra, the most anti-Christian, pro-abortion attorney general (California) in the nation, to run the Department of Health and Human Services. Becerra lost a SCOTUS case on forcing crisis pregnancy centers to adhere to pro-abortion messaging, in which California admitted to violating both clauses of the First Amendment.
Where is Biden’s personal responsibility to God? Is abortion a sin or is it not a sin in Biden’s faith? And is Biden’s faith any player at all in his politics? Apparently not.
Rev. Raphael Warnock is running as a Democrat for Sen. Kelly Loeffler’s seat. Democrats are trying to tie Loeffler to white supremacists, publishing a photo of her with one neo-Nazi named Chester Doles taken Friday at a campaign rally in Dawsonville, Georgia (about an hour north of Atlanta).
Loeffler did not know who Chester Doles was when she took a picture with him, her campaign spokesman Stephen Lawson said in a statement to The Associated Press on Sunday. The picture was taken Friday at a campaign event in Dawsonville, Georgia.
“Kelly had no idea who that was, and if she had she would have kicked him out immediately because we condemn in the most vociferous terms everything that he stands for,” Lawson said.
Further, Doles himself said he is no longer the man who went to prison for beating a Black man in Maryland in 1993. He said he’s no longer the man who marched in 2017 with a skinhead gang in Charlottesville.
In response to a message from AP, Doles said Sunday he had “publicly renounced racism on several occasions in the past couple of years.” Doles added that he attended a “redemption service,” standing “in front of an all-Black congregation and told my story and renounced all racism and asked for God’s forgiveness.”
The picture of Doles and Loeffler was posted on a Russian social networking site called VK, according to the AP, along with others of him with Georgia Republican officials, who likely didn’t know who they were taking photos with. Marjorie Greene, the new Representative for Georgia’s 14th district (I call her the QAnon Queen), knew who Doles was, and had him thrown out of her event. It pays to hang with the Russian social media crowd, I guess, in a weird sort of way.
Doles has no personal responsibility to break off ties with his Charlottesville buddies and skinheads, figuring that posing with an all-Black congregation is good, since Trump once stood in front of a church he never attended with a Bible that wasn’t his.
All of the Georgia Republicans who posed with Doles will now have to renounce Doles, publicly, while the same media offers redemption to folks like Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam, who posed in blackface. Northam’s latest message is to encourage churchgoers to stay home. The media sees no personal responsibility in not treating certain officials with white gloves while hammering others.
Another Biden possible appointee, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, for Attorney General of the U.S., is now embroiled in fresh allegations of sexual harassment. A former staffer named Lindsey Boylan said Cuomo harassed her “for years.” And Cuomo presided over a state that decriminalized all abortions past 24 weeks, even if the abortion is performed by a licensed midwife, physician assistant, or nurse practitioner. I supposed they’d have let a masseur or masseuse do it if the licensing requirements for those professions were less stringent.
Cuomo was out hawking his book about leadership lessons from COVID-19, learned as he consigned thousands of elderly patients to die at nursing homes of the dread disease. He thinks himself some kind of hero.
Biden wants to assemble, with the possible (maybe now less so) nomination of Cuomo and the announced nomination of Becerra, the most pro-abortion and anti-Christian administrations in American history. And he says he’s a Catholic.
What can prevent this is a Republican-held Senate. But with friends like Doles, and supporters who punch the “other side” in the face over pieces of cardboard, those seats are in jeopardy.
What about Rev. Warnock? As a Christian, shouldn’t he be horrified at Becerra’s appointment? Would be vote to confirm?
A letter signed by 25 Black ministers urged Warnock to stand up for life.
“Unborn Black, Brown and White lives are so much more than clumps of cells, burdensome inconveniences, or health problems,” they wrote to the Rev. Raphael Warnock. “They are sacred human persons endowed by God with inalienable dignity and worth. We implore you to uphold the Biblical defense of life and to fight against the systemic racism of abortion.”
They cited the inarguable facts that Black women exceed white women in abortion likelihood by a factor of 500 percent. Warnock, a Baptist minister with a Ph.D. in systematic theology, punted.
“Reverend Warnock believes a patient's room is too small a place for a woman, her doctor, and the U.S. government and that these are deeply personal health care decisions -- not political ones,” Warnock campaign spokesperson Michael J. Brewer told Fox News. “He also believes those who are concerned about life, ought to be focused on the incredibly high rates of infant mortality and maternal mortality and working to make sure we are expanding access to health care, not taking it away.”
Abortion is not healthcare, Reverend Warnock, and you know it. Babies who are born and die of disease are a tragedy and a problem that needs to be dealt with, but killing them in the womb is not the answer, and you know it.
The lack of personal responsibility in this election cycle, to God, to our neighbors, and to our nation, is appalling. And the seeming inability of politicians and citizens to do anything about it, while whining about the “other side” is sickening.
You’re all out of excuses, and you all need to repent.
This isn't complicated. Some christians don't believe it is their biblical duty to force others not to sin. We have been shown the true colors of the anti-abortion crowd this year as many have scoffed at something as simple as wearing a mask to "protect life". Abortion is just another issue they have no skin in that they can use to accuse others and question their faith. It's a joke, as is the whole movement at this point. If you look at the state of the two major parties and your vote comes down to "but abortion" then I would seriously question your christianity. Well I would if I cared.
Abortion is permissible in certain situations. Numbers 5:11-31 states that if a husband suspects his wife of adultery he can apply to the priest for an abortion.
