You can find out a whole lot more about what is real and what is Twitter/X trolling by seeing what’s living rent-free in the heads that populate 620 Eighth Avenue: that is, the newsroom of the New York Times. To wit: Andrew Clark, a GOP strategist, put together a timeline of Trump indictments against breaking stories regarding Hunter Biden and posted it on
For the last several months I have been saying the this political persecution of President Trump by the
Biden administration lent credence to the theory that the Democrats were turning America into one of those Banana Republics where the Government machine works overtime to disqualify or imprison political opponents but listening to the BBC today, I may have been mistaken. Turns out that the Democrats/Biden Crime Family have found a new aspirational regime. Alexei Navalny was just sentenced to prison for being a successful opposition candidate to Putin. Has all the hallmarks of a political incarceration like Biden is trying to accomplish here. Those years of the Democrats screaming Russia Russia Russia was nothing more than praise for their Hero.
Oh please, since when do people in America get arrested for thoughts that you don't agree with. It does not happen, unless of course you are a candidate for office that the Democrats want to stop.
I did and my comments stand. Now what do you know about Navalny's legal issues stemming from his actions if you have not read the transcript or the charging documents. Do you always speak to things subjects before you have any knowledge.
Then you don't know how to read, or are willfully lying about what Trump is being indicted for. Here's the paragraph, just to ensure you actually see it:
"The Defendant had a right, like every American, to speak publicly about the election and even to claim, falsely, that there had been an outcome-determinative fraud during the election and that he had won. He was also entitled to formally challenge the results of the election through lawful and appropriate means, such as by seeking recounts or audits of the popular vote in states or filing lawsuits challenging ballots and procedures. Indeed, in many cases, the Defendant did pursue these methods of contesting the election results. His efforts to change the outcome in any state through recounts, audits, or legal challenges were uniformly unsuccessful."
This isn't about what he thought or said: it's about what he did to attempt to hold onto power, which involved conspiracy to commit fraud and obstruct legal processes in an illegal manner.
I'm not a Russian citizen, nor do I have plans to move to Russia. It's irrelevant to the USA's case against Trump.
It's nice enough. Paragraph 3 does not state any charges. It's simply a disclaimer - an attempt by the prosecutor to say that Trump exceeded his free speech rights by pursuing alternative courses after being rejected in court. Paragraph 2 states that Trump knowingly made false claims. It is simply a lead into Paragraph 3. Paragraphs 10 and 11 contain actual charges but prosecuting those charges is based on proving knowledge and intent by Mr. Trump.
Trump will probably be convicted in a DC court, but many legal experts do not believe the standards of proof will be met in this case and that a conviction will be overturned.
How much of that is intentional timing by the GOP to put Hunter into the new cycle prior to news about Trump's legal issues?
Certainly possible and fair game to ask.
There is a Princess Bride quality to discussing this topic.
Inconceivable!

Have you read the indictment?
Yes I did and you have still not answered my question.
If you did then you know that Russia's treatment of Navalny is nowhere near equivalent to Trump's legal issues stemming from his actions.
We would be a banana republic if we did not charge and try Mr. Trump.
Oh please, since when do people in America get arrested for thoughts that you don't agree with. It does not happen, unless of course you are a candidate for office that the Democrats want to stop.
So you didn't read the indictment. Go read paragraph 3.

Navalny's no, have you?
You know I mean the Trump indictment.
