Well that will put a dent in how I do things for sure: cash back rewards and paying off the card in full each month has been my go-to for many years, and I've even been able to do so with my rent this year using the Bilt card.
It takes discipline to be able to do that of course: otherwise one can end up with debt and interest payments.
That's the only way to go. Congratulations. People who use credit cards out of desperation instead of as a convenience need to rethink their lifestyle.
Stuff happens, and it's not necessarily a lifestyle issue. But there is something to be said that not everyone has the discipline to use credit cards wisely, and those who can't probably shouldn't have credit cards - or if they do, perhaps only have secured cards.
I'm small potatoes on this, but I basically feed all my expenditures thru a reward card, and pay off every month. I've done this for years. Hope I can continue, but thanks for the info

We recently closed our Amazon Rewards card. I don’t miss it.
I doubt I'd miss it, but the effective rebates on regular spending - used to apply as a statement credit periodically - have been very welcome.
