Congratulations to your son for seeing a future that has promise.

I know a lot of people hate Trump, but he is really not that different from other politicians and I still consider him to be better than Biden. The most glaring problem with Trump in my opinion is that he could not put together an administration to effectively implement the policies he promised. I think he tried but he could not overcome attacks from all sides including from the people he hired. His hirings and firings backfired. We need a take-charge guy.

Thanks, Curtis, but I disagree on Trump. He’s shown himself to be uniquely dangerous and corrupt.

So, you choose to believe Trump is guilty as hell for everything and that Biden is pure as the driven snow. I believe Trump is a blowhard with zero personnel skills and an oversized ego. I believe Clinton, Obama and Biden are tied with LBJ as the most corrupt presidents ever.

I still wish you and your son the very best.

Trump’s behavior on 1/6 alone disqualified him from presidency for me and distinguished him for me from all the other politicians as an all time low behavior unbecoming of the office he held.

Thing is that Trump had admitted to taking and keeping government property, and refused to return it when asked. He doesn't deny taking the docs, or having some in his desk (not just in storage).

When someone admits their guilt, what do you do but call them guilty?

I have no idea what criteria you use to determine which POTUS is better and which is worse. I don't think it's spending or debt, or how much manufacturing is occurring or oil getting pumped. So what exactly are your criteria?

I'm pretty sure you do know. You are just looking for ways to be disagreeable.

1. A small federal government. Day-to-day life should be governed primarily by state laws.

2. Veto every bill that is not completely defined. No making of laws by the bureaucracy.

3. Propose and strongly support budgets that fund no more than 5 cabinet level bureaucracies.

4. Ensure that the USA military is the most powerful on earth.

5. Secure the borders. Make immigration a net positive.

6. Enforce laws or pressure Congress to change them.

7. Make sure the USA is capable of producing vital commodities or be sure that very close allies can and are capable of delivery.

8. Appoint strict interpreters of the Constitution to federal courts.

9. Control federal spending and inflation.

10. Do not normalize perversions and mental illness and drug use.

11. Do not pander to special interest groups.

12. Approve charity only to the subsistence level for able bodied citizens.

I can see why you're not happy with any POTUS.

Trump's also the only man who could build a wall on the Canadian border, tall enough to keep the smoke out, and get Mexico to pay for it.
