As I watched the videos presented by House impeachment managers this week, I was gripped by two realizations. The first was how narrowly Congress’s escape from the insurrectionists really was and the second was how close we came to a massacre of the crowd.
If there is one person who followed the dems presentation that wasn't outraged by what they saw and heard, please explain why and how you came to your conclusion. There can be no logic in rationalizing trump's actions and the results that came from them. NONE!
Mike Pence has been perhaps the most loyal of supporters. He has swallowed his pride and defended one stupid, irrational statement after another. There is no doubt he is a God fearing man and once honorable man, yet he was willing to compromise his beliefs to try his best to keep trump from ever looking the fool.
His reward? trump unleashed the crowd and him and his family and then stood by reveling in the carnage. How can anyone defend that? How can anyone hide behind some BS excuse of being unconstitutional? Why would anyone want to cling to a crowd of crazies?
The older i get, the more amazed i am by human nature and their seeming inability to be able to determine right from wrong. I would love to see the dems call as their only witness Mike Pence.
