It's comments like these that leave me questioning the concept of Christianity: “After much prayer and deliberation, I have decided to suspend my campaign for president effective today.” Thank God (pun intended) that he reached out for divine intervention. The really BIG question is; "where the hell (or heaven) was all this prayer and deliberation from 2016 through November of 2020?

I'm sorry but the reality is this completely immoral and amoral human being named trump should be looked down at by Christian's noses far and wide. Instead, way too many hold him up as the second coming of Jesus. Somebody please explain that to me.

I Couldn't Agree More, Bill. I'll Say This; If Donald Trump Is Not The Literal " Little Horn " Antichrist, Described In Revelations, Then He May Be One Of The Ten Kings, Who Rule With Him. How Christians Can Rally Around This Criminal, Sociopathic, Wannabe Dictator Is Beyond Me. I'm Not Ready To Declare Donald Trump As The Antichrist, Yet, But I Am, Definitely, Watching Him.

I think sometimes people hear what they want to hear from prayer. Probably guilty of that myself.

I don’t think Trump is The Antichrist (Beast), but I do think he’s a 1 John 2:18 little-a antichrist.

Right On Everything, Except Nikki Haley. Nikki Haley Has Too Much Of The Stench Of Donald Trump, On Her. I Don't Want Anybody From The Trump Administration, Except Mike Pence, Getting Into The White House. And No, I Don't Want To Hear The " Ron DeSantis Had His Chance " Horse Manure. The Only Person In The Race Who " Had His Chance " Is Donald Trump.

Nope, It's Ron DeSantis's Race And Nobody Else. Nikki Haley Needs To Get Out Of The Race, Like Mike Pence, And Quit Wasting Everybody's Time. I've Said It Before And I'll Say It Again; Either Ron DeSantis Will Be The 2024 Republican Presidential Nominee Or Donald Trump Will. Those Who Pine For A More " Sensible " Establishmentarian Candidate ( Nikki Haley ) Need To Get Over Themselves.

Neither Haley nor DeSantis will drop out before NH. So it will not be a two person race anytime soon.

And even if they did drop out - their supporters have Trump as their secondary preference.

That’s definitely a possibility. I’d expect at least some freed-up voters to go to Trump.

I’m not really excited about either of them. Haley has been too cozy with Trump but DeSantis seems too much like Trump.

Actually, DeSantis Is Not Like Trump. Trump Is A Fraud And A Fake

" Conservative " Poser. Donald Trump Only Pretends To Be A Conservative. Ron DeSantis, On The Other Hand, Is The Real McCoy. That's Why This Loud, Proud, Historically Vindicated, Never - Trump Conservative Supported Known Conservative Ted Cruz In 2016 And Is Now Supporting Known Conservative Ron DeSantis. The Problem, David, Is That You've Fallen For Donald Trump's Con Job. You, Actually, Believe That Donald Trump Believes In And Cares About The Conservative Issues That He Pretends To Champion. But, In The End, Donald Trump Is Just That - A Pretender And A Poser. Sorry, You Got Fooled, David. Ron DeSantis Is Not Like Donald Trump. Donald Trump Pretends To Be Ron DeSantis.

DeSantis is a leader and a take charge guy. Too many people consider exercising judgment and leadership to be authoritarian even when that's what they were elected to do. Being swayed by the thousands of special interest groups is not leadership. Without leadership, it is impossible to govern so many competing demands.

I consider DeSantis like Trump because he seems to have no respect for the Constitution or the rule of law.

I think Haley is much more in step with the average voter in the general election

Out Of Curiosity, David, What Is It That Ron DeSantis Has Done That Makes You Think That He

" Has No Respect For The Constitution Or The Rule Of Law " ? I'm Wondering If You Fall Into The " Too Many People Consider Exercising Judgement And Leadership To Be Authoritarian Even When That's What They Were Elected To Do " Category, That Curtis Stinespring References, In His Previous Comment. I'm Not Aware Of Anything That DeSantis Has Achieved That Would Be Considered

" Unconstitutional ".

Republicans could do far better with a different RNC chairperson. There is no way a 7- or 8-person debate can accomplish anything except turn off voters and give democrats ammo. The democrat / media attack machine will go full force against any Republican who shows signs of gaining national popularity. Two candidates at a time on stage debating Trump pronouncements might make a difference but the TV industry, except maybe FNC, would never give them prime time national exposure.

You suggest Haley stay in but don't you give pause in thinking that she might just drop out and hand the baton to Trump ? I still feel she is a Trump loyalist and would do whatever to put him back in the WH !
