Wouldn't it be refreshing to elect candidates based on ideology and ideas, rather than who could spend the most, raise the most money or say the most outrageous stuff? I'm never quite sure why anyone wants to be a politician these days? Ego? Power? Control? None of them are attractive to me as a voter.Too often the measuring stick is based on whether than can attract big money donors. Take the money out of politics and watch how the game changes.
Term limits would be more effective than trying to control donations. Under-the-table bribery is impossible to stop. Unfortunately, term limits would probably require a constitutional amendment,
Here's where we agree Curtis, change is needed. I said before, never a fan of term limits, i'm coming around. Tired of the lifer's who refuse to leave, ever. They build safe district's and then can do anything. Money under the table is a potential problem, money over the table is real and alive every day of the week. Change is good.
Waiting on a platform before moving Forward. Thanks for the giggle with tweet. I have lived in Miami 33 years this time ( grew up here too) and never heard of this person. Is she besties with Boebert? My goodness she has proven herself the fool.

"The way I see it there are two basic steps for determining viability for a new party in the Trump era."
"Step One: Answer this question: Does your party offer something that will attract a substantial portion of real-world Trump voters?"

"Step Two: Answer this question again: Does your party offer something that will attract a substantial portion of real-world Trump voters?"

Seems like fair questions that the Forward Party needs to be able to answer.
