Good stuff. Although you said “the law doesn’t judge us based on our intentions.” It actually does, which is related to one of his charges (unintentional homicide), and affected the degree of the others. His lack of intention could bring 40 years in prison. Had he intended it, it would have been life.

I don’t think he woke up intending it either, but he did it. On the spot, he murdered Floyd, and Chauvin deserves no sympathy IMO. He had a history of this aggression and mentality, and someone finally paid the price. Now Chauvin is paying his.

Hey David, if you wanted to hear someone defending Chauvin and pleading his case, all you needed to do was turn on Fox this afternoon after the verdict. I was really curious how they would handle it. Suffice to say, i wasn't disappointed. Their claim was he was vilified by the press and never had a fair change (as if George Floyd was given one). One very large load of horse manure.

And of course it wasn't enough to stop there, Biden became fair game for not supporting police. Really? I've heard Biden say a dozen times most cops are good guys and do a great job. What the hell, that entire wing of the trump party is pretty short on accountability aren't they?

Long way to go...but it's a really good start.
