As someone asked on one of the linked Twitter threads, where was this recording during the second impeachment trial? If Liz Cheney had a copy of that audio, I don't think she would have waited until now to release it.
Are you really surprised that politicians lie? I'm not. After reading the CNN "fact " check, I think it's a stretch to label DeSantis a liar, but there may be other better examples. When you start calling out all prominent politicians, I'll take it more seriously.
